Installation
Between the marine and aerial world, at the junction between these two worlds, there are living beings on the surface. It is in this space that this installation is located. The proposal of the exocet (translation "the one who leaves his home") is a metaphor for the mutation from one state to another, from fish to bird, the passage from one environment to another, the capacity of living things to mutate in order to adapt. The flying fish can extract itself from its aquatic environment, propel itself out of the water and be in flight to escape its predators. We can see in it the prefiguration of a new world, the mutations underway invite us to reflect on the preservation of life and our modes of survival.
