Installation
This installation aims to raise awareness and alert the public about preserving the earthworm, named "the intestine of the earth" by Aristotle, and more broadly about environmental issues, questioning our relationship to the world and to history in motion. This giant worm undulates in the undergrowth like a red line not to be crossed. Today it is threatened with disappearance, especially due to excessive pesticide use; its presence is a good indicator of soil health. Soils without earthworms become sterile. Earthworms are a keystone for tomorrow’s food chain: they feed the soil; soils feed plants; plants feed us; and also feed the animals we eat.
