Installation
A project designed to help us position ourselves in the face of ecological dangers and the paralyzing fears they arouse. The installation proposes a primordial experience: lying in the earth inside an openwork plant shelter. Being outside while inside preserves openness to air, clouds and light, while allowing inward attention to sensations and thoughts. In contact with the earth, the shelter becomes a space for open-sky meditation—a pause, airlock, passage into immersion in nature and a renewed relationship with it. Inspired by prehistoric funerary rituals and the cycle of nature (life/death, decomposition/rebirth), it evokes a ritual of the end of one world toward another, for survival.
